Sign, Sing, & Play

Who wants to Sign, Sing, & Play with their littles?

Designed to educate through fun and interaction, each session corresponds with a specific area of daily life by bringing together relevant signing education with music and movement to fully engage the learning process for your child.

As a music educator, Shira knows that children are drawn to music and learn best through movement; music stimulates different parts of the brain, immersing the child in language and developing memory, while movement develops their coordination.

Important: Before you commit to a class, please email us to check available space.

Your Tiny Talker(s) will:

  • Activate learning through music and movement
  • Develop their imagination, problem solving, and social skills
  • Show you insight to their thoughts before they learn to speak

We will:

  • Deliver demonstrations and strategies
  • Illustrate how to get your Tiny Talkers’ attention for signing education
  • Show you how to recognize your child’s first signs
  • Troubleshoot with you and offer our expertise over the last 10+ years in signing education

As you progress through the classes, continued learning at home will take on a natural rhythm and verbal language development will be more easily achieved.

FAQ

Absolutely! Reach out and we can arrange for you to visit a class before committing.

  • Music activates pathways in the brain that are linked to higher forms of intelligence, such as: abstract thinking, empathy, mathematics, and science.
  • The patterns and rhythm of music aid in the development of memory. Remember singing the ABC song to learn the alphabet?
  • Studying music develops your child’s listening skills — an essential life skill (both in school and out!).

We encourage learning at any stage. As long as we have space in class (which, we often don’t, so inquire and book early to avoid disappointment!), we will add you to the attendance list and pro-rate your session fee for the remaining classes.

We understand; life can be unpredictable with kids! You can definitely come to a make-up class so you don’t miss out on any learning! Refunds are not offered since the space in class is reserved for you.

Absolutely! Spouses and relatives are always welcome to attend and participate.
