Why is music and movement such a big part of a Tiny Talker’s sign language class? In addition to being a sign language specialist, I am also a music educator and a mother and I know that children are innately drawn to music and also learn best through movement. Music stimulates and awakens different parts of the brain, immersing the child in language and helps develop memory while movement helps to develop their coordination.
