COVID-19 ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY.
As a willing participant in Tiny Talkers classes at Tiny Talkers LLC, my family and I agree to the following:

Release of Liability:
I understand that it is my responsibility to supervise my child(ren) during participation in Tiny Talkers classes, Tiny Talkers Online video content, and any other content made available by Tiny Talkers.

I realize that personal contact with others, including but not limited to Tiny Talkers employees and participants, involves a certain degree of risk of exposure to disease-causing organisms such as COVID-19. I acknowledge that Tiny Talkers cannot screen and/or monitor all such individuals. I also recognize that all adults entering the facility, including myself, have agreed to the Tiny TalkersIllness Policy and have self-screened themselves and their children for COVID-19 at home.

I, on behalf of myself and my children, hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and covenant not to sue Tiny Talkers LLC and its owners, managers, contractors, members, employees, agents, and volunteers, or the location owner (“Released Parties”) for any claims that may arise out of or relate in any way to my or my child’s exposure to any communicable disease, including but not limited to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) or any other accident that may cause harm. The claims hereby released include, but are not limited to, claims of negligence against any of the Released Parties.

I further understand and agree that I will be financially responsible for all costs incurred to treat any injuries that may occur during these activities, online or in-person, regardless of whether my medical insurance would cover such charges and fees. I hereby give my consent to my child(ren)’s participation in Tiny Talkers activities and hold Tiny Talkers harmless from any and all liability for any injuries or damages that my child(ren) or I may suffer in connection with Tiny Talkers Activities.

Social Media Notice:
I understand that Tiny Talkers may take photos or videos of children and/or adults while in class. I hereby give Tiny Talkers permission for the copyright and use of these photos or videos on Tiny Talkers social media websites.

If there is an issue with this, please let Shira know and she will be sure to make a note of it.

Parent/Student Information:
• Please feel free to arrive 5 minutes early before class begins (but not more than 5 minutes as my rental agreements won’t allow for that). Arriving a little before class allows the children just enough time to settle in and focus on the stimulating environment they are about to enter. I will always have musical instruments, books or toys out for exploration time before class. This is a great time for parents to visit before class starts.
• In order not to distract other children in the class and for the safety of our little friends with food allergies, I do request that TOYS and FOOD related items be kept out of sight in the classroom, and that snacks be finished prior to class. You are always welcome to nurse/bottle feed your child during class. If your child needs a food snack, please feel free to do so just outside of the classroom.

Health Issues & Sick Children
Please consider washing your child’s hands before class. I will also have hand sanitizer available at all times.

Thank you for keeping your sick child at home! Please do not attend class if you have any of the following symptoms:
• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea

Please do not attend class if you:
• Have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
• Are waiting for pending COVID-19 test results
• Have been exposed to any individuals with COVID-19 in the last 14 days

Cancelled, Absent, Make Up Classes & Refunds
There are NO REFUNDS if you miss a class. Please think of this class as you would any other class you are enrolled in (swimming, dance etc.) where you wouldn’t expect a refund if you missed a class. If you miss a class, you will be emailed the online class to participate in on your own. While the online class does miss some things like group activities, you will be able to learn all of the signs that we missed by following along with the online content. For Sign, Sing & Play (toddler): you will be sent a class that is as close to the one you missed as possible. For Music, Movement & Signing (preschool), if you are enrolled for 10 consecutive classes you will be sent an online class (online class may differ from the one you missed).

If I am ill or otherwise unable to attend a scheduled class, I will try to offer a make-up class if the rental schedule allows and if it does not, I will provide you with the online class.

Extreme Weather: In the event that class is closed due to extreme weather, I will make every effort to contact you before class via the phone number and/or email you have provided to me. If you know that the weather forecast is not looking favorable, please check your email for updates. If class has to be cancelled for weather, I will provide you with the online class or offer a live Zoom class if possible.

Refund Policy:
When you register, I reserve a space in the class for your child for the entire session. As classes have a maximum number of children I can accept, I often have to turn away students, because your space is entirely committed to your child, and I will not give it away, nor overcrowd classes. Because I am a small business, cancellations greatly affect me and I appreciate your understanding of this. Once confirmed in a class, an administrative fee of $50 will be deducted for withdrawals. In addition, no tuition refunds are given after the first class of the session.

Let’s work together to make this a wonderful experience for your child and your whole family! I am thrilled to be a part of your child’s learning experience!!! After reading this information, if you have any other questions, you are welcome to contact me.

PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that any adult who brings your child to class has read and understood the policies, procedures, and waiver prior to attending class!

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS WAIVER AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. BY ENROLLING IN CLASSES AT TINY TALKERS LLC, I UNDERSTAND I HAVE GIVEN UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS AND THAT THIS IS A BINDING LEGAL DOCUMENT. I AGREE TO THE POLICIES AND TERMS.
