Who wants to Sign, Sing, & Play with their littles?

Designed to educate through fun and interaction, each session corresponds with a specific area of daily life by bringing together relevant signing education with music and movement to fully engage the learning process for your child.

As a music educator, Shira knows that children are drawn to music and learn best through movement; music stimulates different parts of the brain, immersing the child in language and developing memory, while movement develops their coordination.

THEMES CHANGE EACH SESSION:

OUR DAY

OUR DAY: Diaper change, getting dressed for daytime & bedtime (including bedtime songs), bathing, potty & hygiene
CONCEPTS: Stop/go, share/take turns, please, help, all done, on/off, broken/fix, fast/slow etc.
PLAYTIME: Ball play, dance, music, jump, bubbles etc.
FOOD: Whatever you eat, we’ll learn it!
TRANSPORTATION: Car, train, bus, helicopter, stroller, wagon, tunnel etc.

OUR DAY: Monday class: 9/9-10/7         Thursday class: 9/5-10/10 (no class 10/3)        Registration opens: Sept 25

ANIMAL ADVENTURES

PETS:  Dog, cat, chicken, gentle, brush, eat, play, help, clean up, together, where, hug, happy, etc.
BIRDS: Outside, tree, quiet, sit, owl, bug, worm, wait, up/down, moon, etc.
FARM: Cow, duck, horse, pig, sheep, rooster, farmer, grass, dirty, pond, walk, colors, etc.
ZOO: Elephant, kangaroo, lion, bear, giraffe, monkey, gorilla, mouse, balloon, swing, spider, fun, fast/slow, in/out, help, hurt, etc.

ANIMAL ADVENTURES: Monday class: 4/29-5/27         Thursday class: 5/2-5/30  Registration open NOW

OCEAN & NATURE PLAY

OCEAN : Ocean, water, waves, sand, swim, boat etc.
OCEAN LIFE: Dolphin, whale, fish, octopus, bird, shark etc.
OUTSIDE LIFE: Bee, butterfly, caterpillar, dog, duck, frog, turtle, squirrel, worm, spider etc.
OUTSIDE: Flower, tree, playground, swing, slide, airplane etc.
CONCEPTS: Help, clean up, in/out, quiet/loud, fast/slow, where, share, take turns etc.

OCEAN & NATURE PLAY: Monday class: 6/10-7/15 (no class 7/1)         Thursday class: 6/13-7/18 (no class 7/4)  Registration opens: May 15

TOGETHER TIME

CONCEPTS: In/out, open/shut, tall/short, help, clean-up, where, jump, share, take turns etc.
EMOTIONS: Happy, sad, mad, frustrated, shy, worried, scared etc.
FOOD: Whatever you eat, we’ll learn it!
WEATHER: Rain, sun, snow, rainbows, hat, sunscreen, gloves, boots etc.
FAMILY: Parents, grandparents, siblings, aunt, uncle, friend etc.

TOGETHER TIME: Monday class: 7/29-8/26         Thursday class: 8/1-8/29  Registration opens: June 26

• We allow current families to enroll first before opening the classes up
